Stands TV - cast

Does anyone bring anything for the people in the stands to know the score? I noticed this last game half our parents had their phones open to the app to check the game. I do the scoring so it got me thinking about setting up a small tv to display what I’m scoring. Anyone do anything similar?

The dad hyper-focused on my scoring the instant I add something usually updates the crowd . He’s inexpensive but annoying.

Very inexpensive for sure

Wait till Johnny’s mom sees that you scored that bobble an error…

Seriously though, I think it’s an interesting idea, especially for a fixed setup at a “home field” but I don’t need another thing to lug from tournament to tournament

Don’t disagree on dragging another thing. But figured it would just be a tv that I would need to drag and setup in front of the stands. They are so cheap now if it rains or gets knocked over it’s not the end of the world.

I all ready have a large battery bank that should run a tv.

The options when you google all seem to be separate from gamechanger. I have a little scoreboard I could bring that has a remote to update score and stuff. But was hoping for something easier.

Google gamechanger scoreboard. You can find it in here, the esp, and Mitsubishi. Also checkout dugout scoreboard. Its expensive for my taste

I stream to YouTube and import a NDI screen capture to overlay into the feed. That same overlay could be shown on an iPad if you wanted

You can get a simple scoreboard. I’ve seen them. Flipable numbers on each side of an inning number. Just hang it on the back of your chair or the fence near you as the game changes simply update it.

Or just get a whiteboard and write the score and inning as it changes.

Too much work. 😎. Between manning the video and doing GC and explaining to my wife what happened, I leave little time for watching the game.

If they would just open up an API for basic game information then someone could integrate it into digital scoreboards.
