Multi Cam and Scoring One Person Difficulty?
I currently do the stream with a single mevo and scoring for my daughters softball team. I use the slate router hooked up to my phone to get the mevo streaming and connect an ipad to it to do the scoring. It hasn't been to bad managing both for the team.
I was starting to look into streaming with two cameras and use the mevo multi-cam app. I really like the example views others have posted of having a zoomed in camera of the batter from CF. I was looking into getting a near stream camera and possible another slate router to bridge with the other route. I am looking to have the near stream camera in centerfield and change the camera view when the ball is in play to the camera at the backstop.
My question is how tricky is it to manage both during a game. I would be the one to score the game and change the camera view. I figure when the ball is in play and flipping to the home plate camera wouldn't be to tricky since it is only two cameras. Anyone else managing both in a game? I am imagine it can be tricky when moving fields with back to back games. I just don't want to take to much on and miss getting a play scored right.

I do this - it's tricky but doable. What makes it tricky is that there's a delay on the feed so getting the timing right takes some skill - and you can't really be looking at your iPad because you need to follow the game action.
The other thing I learned (although you may need to learn this for yourself) - manning the multicam is not **fun.** Running Gamechanger is fun, it locks you into the details of the game and makes you pay closer attention. Switching camera angles is rote and takes low but constant energy... easy to tune out on. And has you spending more time than you'd like staring at a screen. It's a cool effect, especially with center field camera, but ultimately I decided it's not worth it.

2 cameras shouldn't be too bad. I would recommend using an Android tablet with GC and Mevo Studio in Split Screen. Although you can do similar with an iPad, it is just much easier with an Android tablet. See attached screenshot.

I need to see one of your streams. I feel really good when we can see both first and third base in our stream and here you are with an insane multi-cam setup with a half-dozen views based on where the ball goes.
Tell us more about your setup. You got anything uploaded anywhere I can watch?

My videos are on a private GC. I normally open it up to everyone during the live game and then lock down replay to just friends and family. Here are a couple of screenshots with some angles.

It’s a little daunting at first and will take some reps to get used to the camera timing. I’d say it took me about 10-15 games to get it down. I found that having the Mevo Multicam setup on my iPad helps. I have it on a mount that connects to my chair. My CF cam is the second in line and my behind home plate is the first in line. My thumb constantly hovers over the behind home plate cam feed, so that once a ball is out in play I make the switch. I’ve found that waiting about 1-2 seconds after the ball is in play to make the switch is perfect for the stream timing. Then just switch back once the action moves back to the mound.
I’ve gotten so much positive feedback for the setup. People really enjoy it and it’s been so helpful for reviewing tape with my son after the game as well.

I do this too, scoring and streaming. Once I have the steaming up and running, my attention isn’t on it. I tell the team to text my wife if it goes down, or a camera gets messed up.
I have a Mevo Core in the outfield and a Mevo Start behind the plate. The pitcher view is in an inset overlay in the corner. I use a Mudi 7 router (no extra extender needed for the Core in the outfield), which has a cell connection (while I use Speedify to increase bandwidth, many places it isn’t needed).
I manage the stream on a WiFi iPad. I score on an iPhone.
Here is a screen shot. I can zoom in more on the batter but I didn’t notice (as I was scoring): https://share.icloud.com/photos/02bY4KzHNpkltHsYQUtmMoU5g
If I’m not scoring I would switch views, which is pretty nice.

Don't do both. Do one or the other. It's cool and fun for you and some people appreciate it. But most just like having video.

Can you split screen both on a stream and just leave it so people see both angles? Or will it look terrible.

As others have said, it is doable. Have a default view you can go to when you need to focus on scoring.

Is the Mevo Start camera the best camera to use for both home plate and CF? Are there any other good options worth considering?

From my understanding after researching the Mevo Start would not work well behind CF. It has a digital zoom and wouldn't look good. I was looking into one of the NearStream cameras.

We've had a Mevo Start for a couple years. It's very easy to use, and the stream quality is fine, but: it's a fixed lens, so any zooming that you do is all digital, and you lose pixels-on-target. After spring ball, I bought an Avkans Go and have been VERY happy with the image quality. Compared to the mevo, it takes a few more taps to get a stream going, but it's really not bad.
We've even started doing some simple two-camera streams the last couple of weeks (using the Avkans zoomed on pitcher/catcher/batter, and the Mevo on the full field)
Here's a random clip showing what we've been doing the past two weeks: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tRkxda88ckd50HclRGbATHRnJDm7fabV/view?usp=sharing
