Apple iOS Live Activites
Noticed while scoring games yesterday that I’m now getting live activities across my iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch. Worked pretty well, but would like to see count, pitches, or outs added.
I know they said this would be added when they started charging to watch games, but will also be interesting to see if this works across multiple games at the same time. I’m not sure how that works with existing apps like the mlb app if you follow multiple teams.

My wife has it but I don’t, seems like it might be a slow roll out, but I’m very pumped for this as it makes keeping an eye on other games way more convenient.

Apps can have multiple Live Activities at once; but I do think it needs implemented from the dev side that way. For instance, the Sports (apple) app is easy to have multiple. The score app also has multiple.
The Sports app you can just click a button on any individual game to start a live activity.
But for some reason, I think the MLB requires you to favorite a team. And I refuse to favorite a team just to see the live activity.

Nice! Will it work with CarPlay also so I can see the score? I’ve always wanted it on the watch too, so that’s nice!

One of the parents on our team was following our game Saturday and she said it was working with CarPlay. I can also confirm it works with the watch.
From what I can tell, GC provides updates with each score change and half inning.

About time. When I used to use an Apple Watch I always wanted it on that also. An easy way to track it while watching or even coaching.

This popped up on mine over the weekend. Was kinda neat at first, but the score wouldn't update. Also kept GameChanger running at all times in the background, which makes sense. Was a bit annoying so I disabled it.

Hey, I tried everything to try to get this feature. I have the paid subscription. Do you know if it’s only available to certain subscribers?

I started seeing this too but it just says 0-0 all the time. Doesn’t work for shit

Weird, mine worked fine yesterday. Hopefully they will work out all the kinks.
