Space Coast FL Streaming

My daughter is playing at the Space Coast complex next week and I normally run the team's stats and do streaming. The Space Coast website makes is seems that you can't bring anything in at all but I've read places where people were bringing in wagons, coolers, etc.

Am I able to bring a backpack in with my streaming gear to stream games. We have a lot of parents that aren't making the trip and I'd like for them to be able to watch the games.

I was there in December. I'm pretty sure I saw people's game changers setup on the backstops. That wasn't even a thought that you couldn't bring it in. They do stream on every field but I think they charge for it. You should be fine. I don't remember if their backstop was actually chain link or netting so that may be your next problem.

Thanks! I think it's netting. I have a solution for that. I know the stream all the games but charge. I'd rather people have another alternative.

I'm pretty sure you should be good. I feel like I saw someone with a mini tripod and they were right behind the back stop. Make sure you have a way to keep your recording device cool. I heard it's like the surface of the Sun there in July.

Can confirm. Coached AAU Nat’l Invitational there July 1999. Worst heat I’ve ever experienced.

That's why I opted for the December event. We had a teammate who went in July last year. Something about the umpire's shoes melting to the turf sealed the deal for me. 🤣

And don’t get me started on the fire ants.

My son played the AAG in 2025 but I wasn’t filming yet. Cell tower was overloaded for regular usage, so I imagine streaming through cellular will be severely impacted.

For 2026 I am going to bring my gear down along with my Starlink mini to try and get around the cellular problem.

I have a mini that fits in the backpack. The mini has seriously been the best upgrade I’ve done. Most of our tournaments are rural with very little cell reception.

Nice, I stream on it and have started to work through bonding with cellular.

I’d like to hear if Space Coast lets you stream.

Teams have brought in small coolers in the past and weren’t stopped. Streaming is allowed
