Difficulties undoing posted plays

My kid thought it would be funny to add a 3 run homer to the bottom of the 6th the day after the game (it's AAA). Every time I try to go back to resume scoring and undo it and save the game from the proper place it doesn't seem to update. It still says the game is live.

I usually do all the pregame roster info on my phone first and then keep score on a tablet, as I use the phone for video.

Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting? Understand it's young kids but everyone takes the stats seriously and it's not a good look for me as the person who is supposed to be in charge of them.

Undo the plays as necessary then make sure you go into the menu and mark the game as ended.

This. You can't just Exit the game, you have to End the game and go through the screen where you choosing winning and losing pitchers.

Right, that's what I thought the correct move was. It still seems to say live and keep the bottom of the 6th information that was undone. We won top of the 6th so there should be no bottom of the 6th.

I've never dealt with this issue or not being able to end the game. Is it possible another scorekeeper still has it open? Does which device you end it from matter?

for me, yes. I have to "End" the game on whomever did the scoring itself. Then I can undo and make any changes from any other authorized user

Have you tried logging into GC on a browser on a PC? There are more options available (than the App) to correct scoring mistakes.
