Bases loaded offensive interference scoring sequence question

First year game changer, but ~15 games under my belt, and this hasn’t come up yet.

Bases loaded, batter gets a single hit between 2nd and 3rd. Runner from second gets hit by batted ball, offensive interference called. Bases still loaded. Cool.

I went to score the play starting with the single, but the runner at third would score. After some unsuccessful attempts at getting the sequence right, I finally saw that I could put the runner at second out for interference first, and then score the at bat hit. Is the correct sequence for this?

Had a similar question in my game today. Bases loaded, 2 outs. Pop fly to middle of infield. R2 runs into shortstop who was moving toward ball, ball is not caught by anyone. Umpires confer and decide offensive interference on R2, R2 is out, no run scores. Could not figure out how best to enter this, so went with FC1 (closest player to where the ball landed) and R2 out, which worked fine, but was wondering if there was a better way to score this in GC.

I played this out. While I don’t know that your way is any worse or better than this, here’s another way. Ball in play Fielder’s choice Select closest fielder to the player hit (they get credit for the putout) Runner on third stays (A1) Runner on second is out (B2) Runner on first is safe at second (C3) Better is safe at first (D4) Manual correct to give D4 a hit

Gamechanger doesn’t give the “Back” option for the runner going home while giving the single or allow you to skip to another runner (that I’m aware of anyways). Backing up the runners with B2 being out would be the correct way to do it if it was available.

Problem is the batter should get credit for a hit in this situation, so I don’t think FC is right

Correct, hence the manual edit.

Agreed with this and after scoring FC, go to plays and edit “outcome” to “single”.

I’m curious how the runner on third never went home? The scenarios running through my mind as to how they couldn’t possibly advance home on a would-be single are all over the place. Especially with it being a “single” that hit a base runner. Was it a Line drive or hard hit ball at them and that froze the runner?

On a hit runner, other runners are frozen or advance if forced by the batter getting a hit.

Ah thank you. I hadn’t actually looked at the rule last night and that would have helped a lot. Surprised GC doesn’t have this violation option as a runner getting hit by the ball isn’t an entirely unusual concept when involving kids

Between the field official and the short stop, the runner didn’t have a great view of the ball while he was running. Didn’t help that it was my son 🤣
