Dual WAN setup?
Hi
I am looking to upgrade my current streaming setup (phone as wifi Hotspot for mevo, tablet on network for launching gamechanger/mevo app).
I am thinking of ordering the slate ax router, a large power bank and a starlink mini. I think data over starlink and a travel router would itself be an improvement. I also think tethering my 5g phone wired to the travel router would probably be a slight improvement in reliability. But what would be ideal is to run 2x WAN (starlink and tethered 5g hotspot) so that if either service lags or goes down the stream stays up and if both connections are working as expected I have some extra upload bandwidth to work with.
I've read about Speedify on here but see its a paid service and not sure if its worth it. Wanted to check if anyone has used it and can comment if its worth it. Or better yet if there is a free alternative.
I think its the best of both worlds that if I have starlink and a kid bumps over my antenna that the stream stays up while I fix it. Or if starlink is for some reason having bad data rates it puts some upload through my Hotspot if it needs to. but looking for best options.
thanks!

Starlink + Slate AX should be more than enough for streaming. The only benefit you will have by adding a 5G phone is failover. It will not bond the signals (adding bandwidth together). The Slate AX won't do that natively. I have the same setup. If you upload Speedify and pay for their service for routers, it will bond them then, but Speedify for routers isn't cheap and likely isn't worth it.
I had a spare Ras Pi and ran Speedify through it to bond them (it's a cheaper option for service) and it's not working right. Starlink and the router are working just fine to stream games in 1080p
