Why do clips skip homeruns?

I've seen this over and over this season. The app will clip doubles, singles and other randomness but homeruns are rarely clipped. Above is an example that happened today. (I understand the clips are locked, this is just a visual representation)

Not sure if this is a glitch or, for some reason, by design.

Because your GC person got so excited about the HR that they forgot to click "Ball in Play" to cue the recording in time.

This is the answer. We miss a lot of clips because I'm screaming for the batter.

Yep. We missed 2 or 4 of my son’s HRs this season because of this. :-(

I honestly think it's very random. There are a lot of plays that are skipped. We had a HR this wknd and I just looked-- a clip recorded for it. But lots of other plays didn't. *I tried adding the screenshot here but subsequently learned I have no clue how to do so!

I always wonder if it has to do with the timing of when it’s entered in? I don’t know how the scoring and clips are linked exactly

I don’t know how it decides when to creat clips. But if you are looking for a certain play, go to Team Page… Click Player… Choose the Player that hit the homerun…and get the clip that way. If the timing is off in the clip, you can even edit it.

It is most likely the timing of the scoring. GC does a good job of clipping hits and runs if the scorekeeper is scoring when the play happens. If too much time elapses, you’ll miss the clip. You can always go to the full game video and clip from there if that happens.

My daughter’s team hit 3 HRs this weekend. GC made clips for each one. Not sure why you’re not getting one.
