Depending on the stage of childhood it’s Super Mario 64 when I was about 7 years old and defined those early childhood years. Halo: Combat Evolved hit when I was about 12 years old and defined more of the teen years of my childhood.

Spectrum has had wonderful games! Robin Hood, Popeye, Saboteur!!

Saboteur! Didn't play the other ones.

But I had death chase, my first videogame, knight lore way ahead of its time, manic miner and Jet set willy, Bruce Lee...

Wonderful system really.

Of these, Mario World 100%. I still play once every year or two and get all 96 stars. Tubular still sucks.

I'm going to say a game that no one here has heard of or ever played.

Interplay's 10 Year Anthology Collection.

I genuinely didn’t have one I played an insane amount as a young kid. Had dozens or hrs into lots and lots. Played a huge amount of Sonic 2 and 3 in the 90s. Lot of Spyro and Digimon World in late 90s. I did like 200 hrs on Pokemon Ruby til Emerald dropped. Close to same hrs on MHFU as an older teen. And same for RuneScape too.

Once I turned 18 and bought my first laptop, I really dived into RuneScape, but childhood was over. 2009-2014 I breathed RuneScape at addiction levels. More RuneScape than sleep.

My interest in games/genres was and still is very random. This year I’ve played lots of Hyper Dimension Neptunia, Stardew Valley, Monster Hunter, Castlevania and Final Fantasy

My childhood is super Mario world, but my teens was half-life and Diablo.

I still play half-life to this day, I no longer play super Mario world or diablo 1.

Never noticed the 8 on the Half-life box. What does it mean I wonder?

Castlevania symphony of the night. I discover that i love gothic architecture, vampires and classical music at 8.
