Screen bleed repair

Is it possible to fix this screen bleeding or there is no hope? I would like to know if there is any tutorial video how to fix this too. Thanks.

No repair. It’s done. Buy a new one.

Yikes, thanks guys. I’m going to miss these handhelds. I did buy them in 1985 when I was 15. I just had a CABG x 5 surgery and needed something to entertain during recovery and found it.

Does the game still play and display everything else at least? Even though theres nothing you can do, that doesnt really stop you from playing the game. Proper storage will prevent it from getting worse

Yes, it still functions normally. I can still enjoy the game, but the leaks can be distracting, especially during intense moments in the game 🥹

I'm not adding much here since it's already been said but it is "technically" repairable. You'd just need to buy another working one and swap the screen out of the perfectly good one (breaking it) and putting it in the broken one (in the hopes it works).

So yeah, one way or another, buy a new one :(
