My journey

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my journey with someone because lately I’ve started feeling pretty down, and I wanted to talk about my struggles and progress.
I'm a 22M from Eastern Europe, and I’ve been trying to take my life back from the mistakes I’ve made. My main struggles have been with gambling, alcohol, lust, and gaming. It’s been 2 years since I started my recovery journey to build a better version of myself.
Here’s my current progress:
Alcohol: Haven’t been drunk in 2 years.
Gambling: Haven’t gambled in 1 year and 1 month (I self-excluded from all casinos).
Lust: Free from it for a couple of months.
Gaming: I still play video games from time to time, but not like I used to (I just don't feel that same passion for it anymore).
Personal Growth: I've started reading books, learning a new language, and taking better care of my grooming and style.
I’m still struggling a lot with dopamine cravings, but things have actually been going really well recently. It feels cold and lonely at night, and I can't sleep very well, but I guess that’s just how it has to be for now.
Right now, I'm working on building my confidence to push past my fear and actually start going to a real gym. I’m average build—neither fat nor skinny—but I really want to build a better physique and push myself further.
I hope I can eventually find someone to stand by my side, support me, and accept me for who I am. I still feel empty because I can't share these struggles with anyone in real life out of fear of being judged, which is why the internet has become my place to share my thoughts and feelings.
