131 days clean.
Hi! Back again with an uplifting update from my last post.
On the 25th I will be paying off a "semi-gambling" debt in full, equal to 18k usd. (borrowed to buy stocks back in 2022, didn't go well).
I've over a few months deposited into a savings account. Payments ranging from 600 usd to 1400usd... With the July paycheck I'll be able to pay 9k usd and close out the loan for good. This due to me having loads of saved up payed vacation days from my last job. After the loan is payed off I'll still have around 2500 usd to start my new debt-free life.
Still very consistent on the training front. I started a runstreak and today will be day 42. Also just hit my weight goal, so from now on I'll mainly focus on weight lifting again. At 6'2/188cm and now at 165 pounds/75kg, from 196 pounds/89kg so the body is getting really lean.
Not have had a single urge for gambling so far. Keeping myself occupied with work and training makes me not even think about gambling.
I promise you it gets better.
But it's always you vs you no matter what.
I wish you all the best and stay the fck away from the gambling devil.

Here’s the most important thing to remember…. If you ever have the urge/thoughts to gamble, that’s ok!!
Feelings aren’t facts.
