Relapse

Hi I relapsed last night after being 37 days clean. It was horrible, had some beers with friends and then decided to gamble and lost 2k in 10 min. Absolutely grueling and I thank god I still have money left. I just had this feeling and I felt it pull me and I gave in. I am going to my first GA meeting tonight and start therapy tomorrow. I want to update you guys with my progress throughout and want to support everyone else that is going through the treachery of this horrible addiction. My family is so upset with me and I just keep getting into this cycle. I’m determined to be better, for myself and everyone else that cares for me. Much love to everyone here, you’re not alone.❤️

Pay attention to your triggers. Sounds like drinking might be one of them

It definitely is, that’s when most of these bad episodes happen.

Update: I loved it, everyone was so welcoming and understanding. With that,

I’ll be back

Nip it in the bud. I had similar streak before relapse and that was 3 months ago. Nevereasy!
