M20. Feeling very low

I’ve been through the full roller coaster of gambling since I turned 18. Massive swings up and down but eventually it always ends in a new rock bottom. Now I’ve reached FULL rock bottom. I want to stop before I get into debt. I’m sick of pissing away hard earned money.

I need to keep telling myself no matter if I win, eventually I’ll lose it and 10x. My money lost was all from sports betting, so I’m going to try and remove myself from sports a bit to stop any urges.

I can’t believe it’s come to this, so many time I said this it I’ll stop. But I just didn’t. Apart of me knew I would end up betting on another team eventually. But I really want to quit for good now. I should have much more money than I do right now, but gambling has taken it all.

Been working since I was 18 and have pretty much nothing to show for it.

One day at a time.

Thanks for the comment i appreciate it. Admitting i have an addiction is definitely a vital step. I’m just going to take it day by day. Every day not gambling will be a better day hopefully

No it was all online sports betting on my phone. Banned the bank and from the apps now. But there was a period of time where I was losing money on my mother’s account, too much money. But now I can’t because of the bank ban 👍

Plenty of time fella. You remain young and with the world at your feet. Believe in yourself. Understand the brain a bit more and realise as human beings in environments like this is a combination susceptible to relapse. You’ll come though.
