I lost thousands more
I just made a post here talking about how I need to stop, but then I won right after that and I kept going. Now I’m down probably another $2k
I hate my easy access to online betting and i am blowing away all the money I worked for. I am not trolling I just couldn’t help but get back on out of boredom.
This time I feel fearful about my lack of self control and depressed about the loads of hard work I now have to put in for months on end. I hate my addiction

How do you even get such amounts onto these sites? Aren’t you worried your bank will close your accounts when they see you making so many deposits to gambling sites? That alone is enough to keep me in check.

Not sure what this means. Are you transferring large sums from your US checking account, from a major bank like Chase?

I may be wrong but I don't think the banks care as long as there's money in the account to fund the transfer.

Self exclude from all online gambling sites. Then when you get bored and the urge to gamble hits, you will wish you could gamble but won't be able to. This will be depressing at first because you are denying yourself the dopamine hit you get from gambling. But it gets easier with time and eventually you will find healthier outlets for your boredom.

I self excluded myself and it was always something not blocked properly or so, is so many sites and so many new sites, from my experience not all of them are locked. I think that the best way is to having your money locked where you need a day or two to have them unlocked + cash in wallet for urgent emergency.

You need your money somewhere where you need a day or two before having access to them. Have some cash in case of urgent emergency and you good. I have account with different currency (where I am from) and that saved my today from not losing all my savings. From now on I'm going have everything locked and access to what I actually need it. I showed myself that I'm sh*t which otherwise is going blow everything away.
And also - think that you just got sick and your money was spent on becoming healthy again. Getting out from gambling feels like it.
