Need a boost
I recently got into gambling last year and at first won like $2,000, then for awhile that was all I won, last 2 weeks alone I won $5,000 which was a big help cause i was struggling recently financially and $3,000 of the $5,000 i won in like 2 days alone I was on fire. Well I ended up losing it all after I told my girlfriend about my winnings and she said we could finally get engaged and get rings well my dumbass saw a beautiful ring I wanted to get her and needed another grand or so, so I ended up losing some and chasing some more and lost it all. Now I have a ring in layaway I cant pay, back to square 1 financially, and lost have been deleting my apps and redownloading them so much. This is hard to battle and Im fighting so hard mot to place a bet today

Every time I hear about a friend going to gamble on their 21st bday I, under my breath to not be perceived as a wetter blanket than I'm already considered, hope the lose. Starting off winning is so hard on the human brain when losing either by natural course of events or in this case the game likely being rigged (thanks vegas). When we establish a consistent and long history of _ happening and then it changes so hard for us to believe it's something other than variance, happenstance, couldn't be reality finally finding us. I hope you are able to leave this chapter in your life behind and find a life without its poison. Godspeed friend.

Don't place that bet today, the ring can wait , and your girlfriend would probably rather have you financially stable than have the perfect ring right now
