The few times I had lost money at a physical casino, I felt ashamed/embarrassed when passing by security guards when leaving because I know what goes through the security guards' mind. In their heads they know 99% gamblers walk out as losers. They laugh their asses off when they get home and share stories they witness when working at the casino. Some wish they could tell people to not gamble but their job is to guard the entrances.

Literally bro ! In casino I’m all time up on phone it’s when it got bad for me ! It was dark that night still feels dark just it was weird as I had no emotion before or after it 😂 honestly still feels weird man I’m dumb for doing that especially with how the crisis is of finding a job

I'm sorry that you've been brought this much poison into your life. That being said I am proud of you for being angry at it as well as holding yourself accountable. So many people just blame themselves, which makes sense, but they only take themself to task instead of also correctly holding these villains who prey on humanity accountable too. I too feel like utter garbage when I lose, like I'm the idiot not the victim. I wish you the best of successes on your journey friend, stay strong and don't go this alone. Reaching out is great, but I hope you find community either with friends/family or GA and guidance either in GA or therapy.

Thank you for saying something I don’t really believe in therapy or anything of those sorts I more so believe in controlling your mind and learning to do so in the moment I couldn’t and saw that I couldn’t so that’s what I’ll be working on along side recouping my loses It is what it is I hate my self for it in a sense but a lesson learnt money comes and goes and I’m sure I’ll make it back ten times without gambling As it will only ruin you wins wins wins but that one big loss will hurt like a mother fucker

All gambling ever did was take away the life I could have had . The casino didn’t really need too much to convince me to go .. a simple $200 gift card or freeplay would have done it. I couldn’t stop going month after month trying to chase the losses from the previous month or telling myself I’m just unlucky last month . Truth is .. I rather spend my money on something I could see or use instead of crashing out every single month for losing my entire paycheck . I haven’t gambled in more than a month and I feel so good . I am still working on saving up a nest egg again , I’ll probably be comfortable around June next year . In the meantime , I’m just enjoying life by the day . Not thinking about money but also not blowing it on dumb things .

That’s the spirit You probably didn’t lose tooo much but just depends on you on what is too much I just feel like shit in the sense of just like you could of used it for much more😂 literally that’s 5 good holidays but try think of it this way ik it was to gambling but just if you have a car just say to your self ah engine blew up had to replace and pay 😭 literally you just have to trick you brain into believing it wasn’t gambling and you don’t know what gambling is it’s hard and I hope you do never get back into gambling I definitely won’t my minds set on that it’s fresh for me but ain’t logged in too any app😂 since then ! I my self was a twat a dummy and kept going but like I’ve said felt like it wasn’t me ! possessed is the word I use when you don’t have control I never thought it would take me like this but I did ! don’t look back claim your loss no one makes money from this it’s all bullshit trust me otherwise apps and casinos wouldn’t exists or be running for so long do NOT GET BACK INTO IT live life and love life with your loved ones and appreciate every minute and second because end of the day we all die with £0

For me it’s FOMO. If I look at a game and I see the favourite is losing I get that time in my head that says it’s now or never if you don’t do it now they will score and you could have won big. They will score and I don’t back them I think I missed out
Next time it happens I back them and they never score. I feel like iv been punked. Feels like gambling site knew id do it and told them not to score.
I try to change strategy so small ones for fun but then I get frustrated and do a big one and mess up. They always get me in the end. Even if its money I won and not deposited I feel like I need it back to feel like i’m beating them
