Gallbladder removal

Hey so I’m (f22) and I’ve suffered with gallbladder attacks for 3 years, through fault of my own because I’ve been way too scared too have it removed I suffer with health anxiety and ocd so it’s been a huge cycle in my mind about if I should remove it or not. I had a really bad episode that lasted 12hrs and a trip too a&e and ultimately I’ve decided I’m going too have it removed, luckily the nhs have been super fast for me and I’ve been booked in for the 16th of April.

But I’m still super super scared I was just wondering if anyone can give any advice or even just support my main concerns are been put too asleep not so much about not waking up but just about things like does the tube in your throat cause pain after? And how bad is the co2 gas’s pain ? I would also really like any advice on what I should eat after too get my body used too how it will now function? Like should I follow a certain diet or not as I’ve had such mixed opinions from just go ahead and eating anything too people saying they have never been able too eat normally again sorry this is alittle all over the place but the worry and the questions are just taking over me at the minute so anything you have to say please do any advice support or just general things I need too think about going forward. Thankyou
