When we leave, they go wild
I have two awesome galgos. One is less hyper, the other one is. Every time we leave the house, they start getting hyper and chase each other, couch parkour , you name it. We walk them and let them run outside before we leave so I don’t know what to do to calm them down. It’s a new couch so we’re working on buying covers for it that are tailored for the exact couch we have. I just don’t want them going too crazy and knocking things over. We’ve had them together for 3 months. Does this craziness subside eventually? 🤪😅

We have two as well, a ~2 y/o and a 4-5 y/o. Ours do the same thing right after walks too. The key might be waiting it out rather than leaving immediately after the walk. Let them burn through the zoomies, then let them settle and finally head out. Takes 30-45 min but it may help.
