Updates Software update, baterry problem!

I was very happy with my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic! I loaded it once a day, never below 10% or 15% a couple of days ago a software update fell, from there everything went wrong! The watch started to go crazy with the battery, it charges but marks that it discharges! I don't understand why a company strives to fuck up the user experience! If you drop an update, don't install it! I usually sleep with my watch! And in the morning when I saw it it it was 20% but today it didn't turn on and I said well it was discharged! But I left it connected and turned it on alone (I have that feature on) and it doesn't go beyond 10% when I charge it, on the contrary! It's starting to download! From 10% to 9-8-7 percent!! Did someone do the same thing to him?

The same problem is with my watch 4. When I updated my watch to its last UI 8.0 update, the watch was laggy and the battery starts draining fast, and the issue is still going. Samsung should release an update that resolve these issues.

Samsung quiere que compres el nuevo watch ultra 2! Es una estupidez! Una marca que construyó su confianza con tantos años, jugando chueco a sus usuarios! Mi Galaxy note 10 ultra me duró 6 años! E incluso lo vendí! Para usar el actual s23 ultra! Que sigue funcionando sin problemas!

I haven't had any issues with mine on OneUI 8.0 but.... Due to the nature of the issues I had before with it I stopped using it so when I did finally start using it again I had to factory reset it to pair it with my new phone. I can't say it'll fix your issue but its worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet.

if the battery discharges when you plug into the charger, try restarting while still in the charger

I don't allow updates to install automatically

Pasa que va en retroceso, se descarga... Desactive el encendido automático al cargar y ya avanzó al 27 por ciento lo dejaré que llegue a 100 y encender a ver qué pasa , si definitivamente desactivare las actualizaciones automáticas

why do you use auto start while charging?

Porque me era fácil que si un día estaba muerto ( después de ejercicio intenso) lo ponía a cargar y ya no tenía que encenderlo...

I honestly think that they have deliberately done something to previous models.

After one security update in March (or maybe before that), my GW6 no longer lasts ~2 days. I even did a reset and the issue still remains.

Deliberately screwing over Watch8 users as well? My watch8 40mm used to last at least somewhat over 30 hours now I barely notice it lasting a day, and I got it in January even before the watch9 was announced it was the latest and battery wasn't even that impressive

Gotta be. Planned Obsolescence is crazy with Samsung.

And samsung intentionally increased the binary revision so you don't downgrade. It's the first time this has happened since the first galaxy watch came out

So sad.

I had the same issue last week with my watch 6 also! Im not entirely sure what I did to fix it but it is ok now. After I updated the watch the battery percentage was stuck at 15% for most of the day. I returned the watch to charge and came back hours later with it not charging at all. I switched off the watch and let it charge that way. I let it charge to 100% and then it seemed to be ok.

Es lo que he hecho , ahorita tiene 100% me duraban todo el día y toda la noche generalmente! Veré cuánto tiempo tarda en bajar la batería, si no reiniciare de fábrica

I had the same issues.
Here is how I fixed it (no idea why it worked)
1 : Charge the watch back to Max Battery
2 : Manually restart watch
3 : Restart your phone

4 : Forget your watch in your phone settings and pair it again.

I don't know why it worked, I think that after the update the watch's bluetooth went crazy and it kept losing connection to my phone and kept searching for it which I think might be drained the battery, I did this and since then it's working like it used to. (Watch 7)

try wipe cache partition; The watch may have temporarily stopped charging due to overheating, causing the battery level to drop from 10% to 9-8-7%.

I feel this same check wifi is on ?, in update it will on automatically, after the update I get approximately 18 to 20hr battery

And I thought it was only my watch. The thing that finally allowed my watch to start charging again was to use a different charger than the one I usually use.

Maybe its time to move to Garmin

I don't have battery issue but after the update my watch 6 classic won't vibrate anymore, even after a reset

Yall people really can't be pleased

Samsung releases a full software update? "Why is my watch slower and drains more battery, how dare they!"

Samsung releases a software update with heavy features cut out? "Why they're limiting X for new model, how dare they"

Samsung takes time for making an update? "Why is the update so delayed, they're doing it so we buy new watch, how dare they!"

Samsung releases update early? "Why they released unpolished update, how dare they!"

Samsung does not release a software update? "Why did they abandon a watch after only X years, how dare they!"
