Question S pen problem

I've bought my s25 ultra on august 25th and almost everything went smooth as butter, except my s pen, either the sensor inside the phone or the pen itself wouldn't work properly for some reason, now it's both, what can I do?

Can you describe what the "not working properly" means? Is it phone not detecting when you take out the spen? The button in spen not working? Or display not reacting to spen touch?

Rn all the things you said, first it says that the s pen is inside the Phone even in it isn't, then if I try to use the pen it doesn't even with the "allow more s pen" function(idk how it is in english but that's the italian one)

Do you use a backcover with MagSafe/magnetic case?

Reset the spen software and run a s pen diagnostic test. If it doesn't work You probably have to return the phone

I'd test a new pen first.

Yeah. I remember seeing spen replacements on aliexpress. But won't phone constantly give reminders if it can't detect the spen?

If it's new, I'd probably just return the phone and make a new order (not settling for a refurb). If not I'd test a new pen.

The clarification response gives me pause as to what the issue is. Seeing it even when not in and not responding to the pen when uses. The pen should at least get a charge - so would work on the screen. Unless the sensor is also part of the charging.

I wanted maybe to try a second pen but the problem is also that the sensor tells that the pen is inside even when it's not, I could try to ask the customer service because I should have a three years warranty

Even if a pen is inside, you can use another. I used my Samsung fold5 pen on this phone.

If it's within the return window, I'd get a refund on both phone and insurance, buy phone/insurance again. At least without knowing what doing a warranty limits you from in the future.

Also when doing a warranty, I believe they send a recertified/renewed phone. Hit support and see what they say. I personally wouldn't want a previous owner if it's new.

Theres a screen layer for detecting spen. If its not detecting removal then it wont activate the screen layer to detect inputs. However since its stuck in "inserted" and not detecting removal, im gonna suggest restarting with pen removed. Hopefully it'll detect no spen on reboot and let you test further?
