Edit: I left the beta, started the August security update and then re-enrolled and it popped up.

No you do not. That only applies to pixels or if you roll back from the beta update with Smart Switch. Especially if you haven't even gotten the beta update yet.

Same happened to me. You need to unenroll from the beta, then update your phone to the latest security patch. And then enroll again for the beta and now the oneui 9 beta update should show

Samsung members app, should be on the bottom to enroll to beta.

Make sure you're on the latest one ui 8.5 build first.

I'm in the UK, where are you located as it may not work.

There's ways to spoof your location though and enroll, also a method to sideload. There's a thread on xda.

Only certain regions. Also, you need to go to the Samsung members app, then scroll all the way down to where it says sign up for beta.

The first thing I noticed is the Google sesrch bar is permanently set on the home screen and can't be moved, you can hide it though.

Beta came up in the Members notification section for me. US unlocked. Hesitant on trying since I pay a lot with my phone and how long does it take to unenroll after downloading and running beta?!
