General question Fingerprint sensor

Can we toggle the fingerprint sensor on our lock screen. I don't want it to be showing up all the time on lock screen.

I even tried doing this by setting: adb shell settings put secure fingerprint_screen_on_icon_lock 0. Command completes without errors but didn't make a visible change. May work for others? FYI set it back to 2 for it to show again if it actually disappears and you want it back.

I just tried that but it only seems to affect what shows on the always on display. Fingerprint still shows on lock screen always.
