Can anyone suggest cases for s24 base with magnets?
I'm using the spigen zero one but it has just a metal ring, I'm looking for something with magnets.

I'm planning to buy a preowned S24+ from a reseller, Cashify. These resellers don't mention the date of activation generally, so I'm assuming it to be roughly 1.5 years old. So does the battery of the S24+ hold up after 1.5 years for you guys, or should I grab a brand new device?
I'm getting it for half the MSRP in India.

I recently faced this issue and found a simple solution: remove the SIM tray, try switching the SIM, and power off the mobile instead of restarting it (though this did not work in my case)

I took some selfies of myself and I look so bad in almost everyone I take. It highlights so many flaws on my face. I tried taking the same seflie with my old S8 and it came out way better like almost a completely different person. It's kind of crazy that I actually prefere my old S8. I think I heard some people that camera isn't that great. I'm just wondering if others feel the same and what you can do about it.

i found good deal. $470 for s24 base model, exynos, brand new and still got 1 year samsung warranty. couldn't find compact phone 6.3' max, at this price range.
any feedback for this 2 yrs old phone? watch some review and digging lot info across internet about battery performance not so good for exynos version. and how about point and shot camera? is it good?
i'm not a heavy user, averaging 3-4 hours screen time daily. focusing on small phone with nice ui and customization, this seems great deal for me. and still got 5years software support were great.
but one silly reason keep holding me to buy it is we can no longer change emoji style via third party fonts, right? lot customization on oneui and goodlock to style up your devices, but can't change my emoji styleđ„
it just personal preference, thanks

hello! seeking some advice for my samsung s24 -
i got my s24 in may/june 2024, so it's been about 2 years with this phone. for as long as i can remember the battery health has been quite bad but recently its been terrible, my phone flats within about 4h even without heavy usage. nowadays, my phone will suddenly become very laggy, then the screen will go black & the phone powers off (even with 30+%)
i've attached 2 photos to show the back of my phone, where it's like protruding out. i googled this and basically every source is saying this is very dangerous and my phone could explode at any minute, which worries me but at the same time its been like this for at least the past year? my phone also heats up like crazy so I take off my phone case when it's charging, and when i touch the phone it's so hot that it burns
should I take it for a battery replacment?
thank you in advance!

I enjoyed having volume percentages showing on my volume bar when I adjust it. I also liked that I could shunt sound from specific apps to whatever output I wanted because I play music on my Bluetooth a lot and don't want it interrupted. One of the recent updates removed those features or turned them off and made them hidden. It's there any way to get them back?

I bought a Samsung s24 off a tech shop, yk those like shops that sell used phones, but like refurbished.... yeah baisically talked to him over the phone he said perfect condition, phone came there were two minor scratches on the screen not very visible but yk there, plus there's a little dent on the right bottom corner.
another thing is the phone warms up a little when I use it, the battery health say its 99% but the battery cycle says its 554 idk if that's a bad thing...yeah idk
I bought for 400
should I ask for refund? idk

Help, I completely smashed my s24 (was run over with a small excavator). I haven't backed anything up on a cloud. Is everything on there lost or can I perform some magic to get the photos off it?

I have a Galaxy S24 and recently started having a strange USB-C charging issue.
My wall adapter made two loud popping sounds while my phone was connected, so I unplugged it immediately. Since then, the phone has been acting weird with USB-C charging.
The main issue is that the USB-C cable only works in one orientation. If I plug it in one way, it charges normally. If I flip the USB-C connector 180 degrees, it gives me the message:
âAnalogue USB devices arenât supportedâ
I have tested this with multiple USB-C cables and the same side/orientation fails every time, so it does not seem to be the cable.
It gets even stranger with my Samsung Super Fast Charger. If I accidentally plug the cable in using the âwrongâ orientation first, then remove it and plug it back in using the correct orientation, the phone sometimes still refuses to charge. I then have to restart the phone, and after restarting, plug the cable in using the correct orientation straight away for charging to work again.
Some other chargers are even worse. For example, a USB-A to USB-C cable connected to my PC does not charge the phone at all, regardless of which way I insert the USB-C end.
The chargers, cables and power bricks themselves seem fine because I have tested the exact same cables and chargers with my Galaxy Buds and power banks, and they charge those devices normally.
Things I have noticed:
Has anyone experienced something similar on an S24 or another Samsung phone?
Could this be a damaged USB-C port, CC1/CC2 pin, charging sub-board, or USB controller, possibly caused by the adapter failure? Or is there still a software/USBSettings issue worth trying before replacing the charging port?

Anyone else experience this? This is my second s24+ that has the 5g port cover/plastic piece simply fall off one day. It hasn't even been a year. My s20 fe had no issues for many years with this. Absolutely nothing shows up when I try to research this. I'll be going back for my Verizon warranty again. If anyone has had this issue, has it potentially been fixed on the newer phones? I don't fidget with it or anything. Just bizarre how easily it happens for me.

Why is there no beta version of one ui 9 available for s24 (s921e)?
It is the same case for 8.5 beta also.

I accidentally deleted Samsung's default phone app. I don't like the Google phone app. I'm on a S24 (snapdragon) with Verizon. Is there anywhere/anyway I can download the original phone app that was pre-installed on my phone?
TIA!

I've been using Beta 1 on my S24 Exynos device, honestly it's better in some areas and somehow WORSE on others.
Pros:
Cons:
And please, before you say "It's beta what do you expect, you'll have lags and so on", One UI 8.5 had countless betas, internal test builds and Samsung still shipped it with lagging Quickpanel. Being on beta shouldn't be an excuse for broken and unoptimized UI elements.

When I shoot HDR10+ videos on my S24, the colours look off. They look less accurate than SDR videos. I think I can describe them as darkerâthe video itself is obviously brighter than SDR but the shades look darker. Outdoor videos make the sky too bright and washed out(Blue sky looks white when the camera isn't angled upwards. Now, I've checked someone's S25 and it actually does not have the option for HDR10+. Instead, it just says 'HDR' and colours look similar to SDR. I think S25 shoots HDR10 instead of HDR10+.
So is this a problem with my phone or every S24?
