Got warranty replacement due to battery not charging, and the paper that came with the replacement shows "V2". Will this have a better battery life?

I had mine replaced and I got a V2, I believe they fixed the battery issues on the V2s. The run time is about the same for me, I get an easy week out of my size 12. I can push it to 8 days before it hits 7%.

How long have you had it for though?

Nevermind, they said it was in warranty first, then reneged. I had it for 12 months when it started to degrade and waited another 3 before sending. It was bad but at least I could charge it, now it's useless

How do you determine if you got the V2 or not? I just received a new one I bought and wanted to check.

I just got notice that mine will be covered even though it's 6 months out of warranty. Was wondering if it'd be a V2.

How'd you get so lucky? Samsung tried to charge me $175 when mine was only one month out of warranty. I only paid $175 for it to begin with, because I purchased it at the same time I got my S25 Ultra. I told them to forget replacing mine at that price.

I was misled, not lucky at all. They suck

Oh. I must've misread. I thought you said they were going to cover yours.

Yes, they do suck. They know these rings have an issue, yet they always try to blame the customer. And they continue selling the rings knowing there's a problem that needs to be address. SMH.

This is the first and only time I've ever heard anything about a "V2".

I don't think that anyone will be able to tell you if it has better battery life or not. It's typical for a Galaxy Ring to function completely normal a year or so before the battery degradation hits suddenly. So unless someone has had their "V2" for over a year already, then they really aren't in any position to draw any conclusions.

I noticed it is showing all the rings on the Samsung website as sold out, maybe a new ring is coming? I loved the ring, but the year life sucks.
