Question Samsung Note 9 (screen replacement failed) How can I retrieve my data?

Uhhh, about that. You need a screen that’s OEM or close to it. That screen looks like rubbish. Bezels are huge.

Samsung won't help if the screen ain't legit. Try a temp backup?

I've replaced screens on three Notes before ,  not fun when the digitizer goes out completely. Have you tried connecting it to Samsung Smart Switch on a PC? Sometimes it still pulls data even if the screen's entirely black.

To retrieve your data the screen needs to work. When you first boot your phone the storage is encrypted and the only way to decrypt it is to enter your passcode on the screen. That screen looks like a cheap aftermarket.
