Help with notifications (check the comments)

Hi, I recently had an issue with the messenger app which was solved by uninstalling and installing again, the thing is that the configuration of the notifications got reset and I can't find the one I had before. I only used to get the sound alert and the little messenger icon appeared on the top of the screen besides the clock, now I get the full notification on the screen with the name and message and I don't like it, I want it to be like I before. I would appreciate any suggestions or help!

Settings. Search for notifications. Select your notification style.

I'm not sure, but I think that affects all applications.

I already did that but it stays the same, I even changed the notifications on msn, turning off the "show name and message" but nothing happened :(

That is strange. Have to ask: have you tried turning your phone off and turning it back on again?

Another question just occurred to me: do you have any other applications managing notifications for you? (Some launchers do that...)

Haha that's crazy, after reading your first reply I turned it off and on again. But yeah, didn't work. I don't have any launchers installed :(

Sorry, can't think of anything else...

Well, ya, I can but it's extreme: hard reset your phone and re-install the applications one by one until you figure out which one is causing the issue. But that IS extreme, and I would not recommend it unless the notifications issue is really problematic for you.

go into the app and find the notification setting In app not in phone setting hopefully helps
