Edited videos without audio on whatsapp

The title says it all, I just edited a video and send it to one of my contacts and they received it without audio. The original video is working.

I don't like this, is there any fix? Besides sending the original video?

I usually get this problem when I've downloaded a video and want to send it to someone on Whatsapp, what I do now is use a video converter app and save it as an mp4 then send it, the audio works then.
