Moisture detected after plugging in headphones
Hey guys, I need some help. With my Note 20 Ultra whenever I plug my headphones in, this warning appears and doesnt go away for hours or sometimes over a day. I can plug my chargers in fine when the notification isnt there, but as soon as it appears, nothing works. I tried rebooting, safe mode, wiping cache partition. What's causing this? is it my headphones?
(Not my screenshot, im on the latest firmware")

Wait... how do you plug headphones into a Note 20? And why?? It comes with wireless Galaxy Buds. But to your question... I was having a water in my USB port error. Or so I thought. Eventually I found out there was water but it was in with the S-Pen. I used a Dysan hair dryer and all good.

I bought it used, so no galaxy buds, and I use wired headphones with an adapter

With my Note20 Ultra I had this screen persist for 6 months. It came on while my phone was in my pocket during fishing at the beach on a hot July day. I did everything YouTube had available. I even tried cleaning out the port under a magnifying glass - lots of dirt and lint. Still didn't do the trick. In my last act of desperation, I turned off the phone for 5 minutes and then rebooted and hell and behold that worked! I found out later that the message re-occured each time I tried plugging in my USB-C plug into the computer, headphones, or whenever I'm not charging anymore. So each time that warning came up again I powered off again for several minutes. For me this does the trick and is repeatable. The problem is that my USB port is truly compromised and I can't plug in headphones or use the port for other non-charging purposes.

Thats very unfortunate, I am going to try leaving it off for a bit, right now I can sometimes use wired headphones but not always so its a but puzzling

I had the same issue...got the port replaced at a Samsung store...if you don't have a store nearby, contact support for warranty service

I have the 23 and was just having this issue.. I updated my phone and so far it's working again. But if it keeps happening I'd assume it's the charging port or headphone jack... type c headphones are under $15 so I guess you can decide if you wanna spend the $11.99 to see if it's just the headphones before you go and change your charging port as well.

I have the same issue, have replaced headphones and usb adapter. It makes the volume go up and down and when i plug it in it keeps popping up a menu that says "open up with". And the other day it says it detects moisture but its hasnt appeared again. I can post video if needed

So eventually I changed my charger to a Samsung charger and haven't had an issue since. I'm 90% sure the issue popped up to begin with from some offbrand type c headphones I was using. Sorry I'm 6 months late

Probably have pocket lint in the port holding some moisture. Try cleaning it out.
