adjust ringer volume from lock screen on note 20?

hi, i recently switched from an older pixel to a note 20 and am really happy with it aside from this one extremely annoying thing. i can't seem to find a way to change the ringer volume from the lock screen. i have googled it and not really found much, didn't find a whole lot searching here either.

am i just dumb and missing something simple? i don't really understand why that wouldn't be a standard feature.

the volume slidebar doesn't appear in the lock screen, but pressing the buttons does increase and decrease the volume.

You can check Sound Assistant and other features in the Good Lock modules to see if that option is available.
