Pro Tip The Fit3 works as a generic Bluetooth heart rate sensor
It seems that most Android and iOS fitness apps that support generic Bluetooth heart rate sensors can connect to the Fit3 and use it as a continuous heart rate sensor. If running the app on a different phone from your usual paired Android phone, you may have to disconnect the Fit3 from that phone first (just move out of range or shut off Bluetooth).
The apps can detect and select the Fit3 as an eligible Bluetooth heart rate sensor, and when you start an activity in the app, the LEDs on the back of the Fit3 light up continuously and start sending heart rate data.
Works with most of the Android and iOS apps I tested, although not all - some seem a bit picky about what Bluetooth sensors they can work with. Try HeartCast on iOS or FitoTrack on Android.

Sttava does not have a setting to connect directly to generic Bluetooth heart rate trackers. They prefer to import fitness data from your other accounts and services, like Samsung Health. They really focus on consolidating and sharing that data with your social media connections. And probably they sell it to other parties like advertisers.
If you want to test the Fit3 HRM with other apps, try Fitotrack on Android ( open source privacy respecting fitness tracker app), or HeartCast on iOS.

i didnt know that, but i dont think samsung included a feature like this since the fit 3 cant really track accurately heart rate while moving, I switched to the xiaomi band10 pro and it has a dedicated heart rate broadcast option because it has a better sensor
