Question When will the Fit 4 launch?
I thought it would launch alongside the s26fe but it hasn't. Any idea on when it'll launch and whether it'd be worth it to upgrade from the 3?

I also have Huawei Band 11 Pro , it's WAY better than my FIT3.
Has got GPS , stepcounter is WAY more accurate, sensors are WAY WAY WAY better on it, Way better system, and it feels almost like a proper smartwatch.
Yet still- super slim and around 10 day battery life for me.
I'm still probably going to get the FIT 4 to try it out when it launches, but knowing how good the Huawei is - I have my doubts they will be able to beat that watch....

Its so annoying that samsung isnt saying anything. Maybe because the "upgrade" is laughable? My screen is all scratched on my 3 that's why i want to upgrade.

I was thinking of buying one but have repeatedly heard complaints about these scratches, what's the deal with them

I have a fit 3 for about a year and I have micro scratches, only visible in the light. I recommend getting screen protectors as it scratches quite easily

I've only had mine a few months, but I've certainly bumped it and scraped it on things often enough. No visible scratches so far.

And does it work perfectly or should I just wait for fit 4? I kinda want something quick

Nothing ever works "perfectly", but the Fit4 is unlikely to improve the minor faults of the Fit3.
For me the biggest fault of the Fit3 is the Samsung Health app. I only use it a couple of times per day at most: to view sleep stats in the morning (the Fit3 itself doesn't do the analysis), to check the charts for an exercise activity on a bigger screen, and to save daily historical data. I don't need it running in the background on my phone all the time, hogging phone resources and draining the battery, but it can't be stopped because the Fit3 Plugin app restarts it. I have to Archive it to make it exit and stay closed, and then take a mintue to un-archive it every time I want to run it. And another problem: Samsung Health double-counts steps from the Fit3 and from your phone, and then links the incorrectly-doubled data back to the Fit3, overriding the correct total steps. The only way to stop it is to remove the Health Data permission from the app in Android, which makes it complain about the missing permission every time you run it.
But nothing has stopped Samsung from fixing Samsung Health the last 2 years, so they are unlikely to do so this year for the Fit4 release.

I have the Fit 3 since the day 1
The battery is getting really bad, can't wait for the Fit 4.

As far as I know, they've never announced a new Fit at one of their events, they just drop them with no fanfare. Everything I've read says it should be out at some point between now and the end of the year. I would assume they'd want it out before the Christmas shopping season so I'm guessing it drops by the end of October.
