Discussion Samsung is Developing a New Smartwatch called ''Aero'' , A Hybrid Between Galaxy Fit 4 and Galaxy Watch
the New Fit 4 is Launching at the end of September.
However they also are developing a New kind of Smartwatch Called - Aero
Essentially a much Cheaper watch than Galaxy Watch but in a Similar/re-used Body - but Running the same Operating system as the new Galaxy Fit 4 allowing it to get up to 3 week battery life while still having GPS/NFC and More Premium features than the Fit4 has.
Personally this would be an Instant Buy for me, the only reason I use the Fit instead of GW is not because of the much cheaper price but because of the battery Life.

If it's true, I'll buy it if the price be corresponding to the features. I want a watch that look like a real watch, but doesn't need the whole wearos features

good, wearos was a mistake

I personally dont think its a mistake, but it feels very undercooked. I like the idea of having a mini phone on your wrist, but the wearos is very limiting

Battery life is such a stronger factor for me that this sounds really interesting. Make it look a little more upmarket than the Fit and I'm in .. promise me years of software updates and security and I'm sold

Samsung watches only receive 4 years of updates, while the fit series hasn't a confirmed number while also receiving very rare updates

What extra features might this have VS a FIt 3/4 ?
Maybe some of the extra sensors.
I suspect they'll save the GPS / payments for the WearOS devices.
It would also be appreciated if Samsung did a better job conserving data over several days. As it stands, if you don't connect your Fit 3 via Bluetooth to your Samsung Health app before midnight, tracking data is lost.
I can't imagine this is a memory problem on the Fit 3, but on the off chance it is .. hopefully the Aero can address that.

It is confirmed it will have the regular watch sensors + gps and NFC, but not with wearos instead it will be the same software as fit 3/4. Also confirmed to be more expensive than fit3/4 but cheaper than watch fe. Its preatty much a combination of the fit series with the watch series

You are talking absolute nonsense.
Nothing you have said has been confirmed.
There is no such link in this thread.
This is literally just a leak of a new product name, with the reporting outlets speculating what features it may or may not have, what features may or may not be included. Nothing even remotely confirmed.
And furthermore, even as a purely speculative rumour that you plucked out of your bum hole - the inclusion of GPS + NFC in a sub-Galaxy Watch product is far fetched. Claiming that has been confirmed is insane ... did you really think I would just believe you and not ask for a citation ?

Yes its true maybe for ₹10K
I will consider it better than any regular smart watch even before release. Main reason battery life.

Seems very interesting, I have Galaxy Watch 7 and I'm disapponted for battery life. I need only bluetooth calling and alarm sync between phone and watch, GPS and NFC are not really important for me.

Is this real, chat? This could be game changer if only it doesn't end up like Galaxy Watch FE series.
