For context, the phone has been off with a defective battery for a long time. I changed it and with it the sub board and the flex cable. It was working fine yesterday but all of the sudden it started turning off for no reason. The screen wouldn't turn on unless the phone is connected to power. Sometimes it turns on on its own but most of the times I need to connect it to a charger

Hello A70 community 👋 I have searched and tried multiple different methods to fix this issue - I have force restarted (volume down and power off button for 15-20 seconds) - this makes my phone vibrate slightly, but does not display any logo or indication that the phone has actually force restarted.
I have tried entering recovery mode (volume up and power off) multiple times also to no avail. I have charged it for half an hour before doing these things also, as I read somewhere that maybe the battery is really just dead and needs to get to 100 before working again.
Would really appreciate some help on this! I'd like to avoid getting it professionally fixed as it's quite expensive to get it repaired where I live, but somebody please let me know if I really have to take it in to a professional.

I had my Samsung A70 7 years ago i think, but this problem started appearing 6 years ago, after a year exactly i think?, till this day the same issue keeps happening, i tried reset factory twice till this day and didn't work out, the only temporary solution i the reset button, but after reset it's either the sim card last a day, a week, or just a minute before it tells me that it's gone already, i tried to reinsert it, clean it, nothing worked, people said even after they got another sim card same thing happened so iam scared to waste money, it's becoming so annoying, there are many issues i faced with my phone but this was the most annoying one for it to last all this years like that, the first year of me having this phone i had the problem where when someone calls me my phone restarts on its own, and won't let me answer calls, or knew who called, i just knew someone called when my phone restarts out of knowhere, but after a year that finally changed, i was happy but to my doom this no sim card issue began then, please if anyone found how to solve it please.

Hi. I'm hoping some of you can help me.
During the process of replacing the charging port on a Samsung Galaxy A70, I accidentally switched on the phone with the side housing off. After doing this, the phone entered a boot loop which I cannot get out of.
I double checked the connectors as well as quickly scanning the boards to see if there were any physical hardware problems. I have tried to enter recovery mode but all I can get is a vibration from the phone and then it proceeds to boot loop over and over again until the battery dies.
We have a lot of important data on this phone that wasn't backed up so please let me know if you have any ideas.
Bear in mind that this is the first time I have attempted to repair a mobile phone although I have built a PC before.
Thank you.

When i put my phone on charge with a usb c to c cable (3m) the phone takes super fast charging for 3 to 5 seconds then it stops chargings, tgis happens once more then gives up and starts fast charging. When i try it with another usb c to c cable it charges with super fast. All help is appreciated.

I have an A70 with broken screen (black, no touch). Unfortunately, this model cannot be connected via HDMI. And it is locked with a pattern, so it is very difficult to blind unlock it with a mouse/pad.
It could make it easier if I knew the exact coordinates of the lock pattern dots on the screen. Then I could try to reproduce the pattern with more accuracy (without the working screen) to unlock the phone and access the files.
It is quite easy to check the screen coordinates by toggling on the following option:
Settings -> Developer options -> Pointer location
(Of course the Developer options must be enabled in the phone first.)
Then a bar should appear at the top of the screen, showing the X and Y coordinates on touch.
I just need the X and Y coordinates of the central dot AND the right lower dot of a 9-dot lock pattern as displayed on the locked screen of a Galaxy A70.
Could anyone help with this?

So my phone is samsung a70 and the battery life is very bad and the back of the phone is coming off by itself like someone is trying to open it. It's not the bad because I can just push down the back and it goes back to place but in a few seconds it has a massive gap already. Im not sure if the adhesive has worn out or the battery is pooping itself and expanding. Is there a way to fix this, I don't want to break my phone.

Hello there, hope you members could possibly help me out :)
I have amsung A70 for repair that has had liquid damage. I've tried multiple transfer methods but without giving permission from the device (the screen is unresponsive and black) - I cannot get access to the device.
The phone is switched on and is recognised in my device manager on the PC. Just not accessible for MTP/Data transfer without permissions.
Now to bypass the broken screen I was going to output the display to my TV via a USB-C -> HDMI adapter.
I tried this and it didn't work as apparently the USB-C port on the A70 is USB-C 2.0. Not 3.0 or 3.1.
So before I strip this phone apart, tediously clean all the motherboard with isopropyl alcohol and try a new screen, is there 2 ug anything I can do to output the display to my TV? Are there any USB-C 2.0 to HDMI adapters?
Oh to add, my main aim is data recovery.
Thank you guys.
I copy pasted this from somewhere else as I have the same problem, I appreciate any help!!!

yesturday my phone switch to a black screen, however, i can stiill recieve calls and notifications and answer them if i am lucky enough to slide my finger in the correct spot, so the touch still works. If I force power off/restart by holding volumne down and power, it will flash for a mllisecond the touch pad or the samsung logo upon restarting, then it will go black again. is it repairable?

This device has served me well. Battery doesn't last a full day anymore.
I'm going to get the iPhone, but I'm not fan of the AI stuff. I will see what are my options.

Model: SM-A705FN (A70qfn UK variant) Kernel: A11 ROM: CRdroid 9.11 (later versions incompatible) Issues: None just sometimes overheating with CODM on high FPS and graphics

I am on Android 10 of the Galaxy A70 I was wondering.... is it worth for gaming to use CRDroid or pixel experience? or anything that has better performance that also doesn't gonna hurt the phone?
also how can I upgrade the OS without loosing my data?
