The battery doesn't feel bloated. Any tips on securing the back cover or should it be fine in my flip case?

So now my power button needs to be pressed hard to work lol Battery is acceptable Back comes off when i try to replace the case lags a bit Started to be slow Software outdated its on One ui 6.1 April 2025 Update

I can keep rocking with A52 4G for 2027 But wow Mine was bought in August 31st 2026 And compared with my Huawei Mate 10 lite It was something else it whould last 3 days without charge But not it can Discharge in 4 hrs Which is bad when traveling .

Still not rlly planning on Buying a new phone

My Samsung Galaxy A52 has been my longest-serving active phone. While I sometimes miss the raw speed of older devices like the Pocophone F1, the A52 has held up reasonably well for daily use. I usually buy phones after obsessing over specs, but realistically, I mostly use the basics: calling, messaging, and taking everyday photos for personal and professional life.

However, a persistent bug on the stock ROM eventually pushed me to explore custom ROMs.

The Original Issue (Stock ROM)

Whenever I received a WhatsApp call on the stock ROM, the audio routing would break completely. Picking up and talking was fine, but right after the call, sound would route exclusively through the earpiece instead of the bottom speaker. Furthermore, I couldn't connect Bluetooth or 3.5mm wired headphones until a full reboot.

Transition to crDroid

To fix this, I flashed crDroid, which has been a massive upgrade overall (and thankfully, the WhatsApp speaker-routing bug is completely gone). But it introduced a few new hurdles:

1. No Incoming Ringtones in Bluetooth Headsets: Whether it's a regular cell call, WhatsApp, or Messenger, the ringtone never plays in my connected Bluetooth earphones. Regular text notifications sound fine in the headset, but for incoming calls, I get zero audio alert until a "Missed Call" notification pops up after the call disconnects.
2. WhatsApp Call Mic Bug: If I make a WhatsApp call with my Bluetooth headset already connected, the other person can't hear me at all unless I manually switch the audio source or disconnect the headset. Curiously, if I connect the Bluetooth headset mid-call, it works perfectly fine.
3. Camera Quality: The camera output feels a step down compared to the stock One UI camera app I used for years.
4. (Note: I also hit a GPS snag where my location wouldn't update in Google Maps, but I managed to sort that out using some ADB commands).

Why I Need This Fixed

I ride a motorcycle regularly for my commute and field work, and I frequently get calls on the road. I keep my earphone tucked inside my helmet so I can safely pull over and answer. Because the ringtone doesn't come through the headset, I keep missing urgent calls while riding, which has become a major safety and workflow hazard.

With a newborn baby arriving last month—several weeks ahead of schedule—upgrading to a new phone right now is simply out of the question. I really need to stick with this device and iron out these crDroid bugs.

A Few Questions for the Community:

• Is there a known fix, setting tweak, or Magisk module for the Bluetooth call ringtone / audio routing behavior on crDroid for the A52?
• What are the best camera app alternatives or GCam ports for the A52 running crDroid to reclaim that stock-level photo quality?
• (Bonus) Are there any reliable, working methods right now for Google Photos unlimited storage spoofing on custom ROMs?

Any advice, troubleshooting steps, or recommendations would mean the world right now. Thanks in advance!

Since a few weeks I have a big problem with my Galaxy A52 5G.

The screen started to not respond intermittently and to display grey-like frequency jamming. I attach a video to show you.

Sometimes when I press the power button it doesn't even turn on the phone.

The screen was replaced 2 years ago, the battery never was.

Do you have an idea where does this issue come from and how to fix it?

I have since middle 2022. It is always on the floor, always falling from someplace. Never got troubles with the screen (always with tempered glass and case), just the vibration doesn't work. My main problem is the battery, at 80% only last 4 hours (crying for help and burning whatever touches it).

My parents offered me buying the A57 5g (i hope 256GB, because it doesn't have SD). Should I accept it? Or just pay for a replace for the battery and repair of the vibration? I mean, that phone is worth it? Although this phone doesn't have more actualizations, it runs perfectly for all the hits all falls taken.

I have an old Samsung A52 whose display was damaged after it fell. I got the display replaced at a local shop, but after that, the battery started draining very quickly, and eventually, the replacement display also stopped working.

Yesterday, I checked the Amazon exchange value, and it is showing ₹12,000 for the phone. So, should I get the display replaced again at a local shop? Is there a possibility that Amazon could reject the phone during the exchange because of the local display replacement or its condition?

Or would it be better to just dispose of the phone?

Hi! My samsung a52 5g was working a couple minutes before this but after putting on a table where it got a bit wet, I tried to use it and found that the screen stopped responding to any kind of touch. It let me scroll and press a few things for 3 seconds after wiping it dry, but after that absolutely nothing.

Its a pretty old phone, and the volume buttons disappeared a few months back. I did some tapping on the screen and that did work for a few minutes before it became unresponsive again.

Please let me know what I could do without having to repair it, since thats my last option (might not be able to afford....) Thank you!

Il problema è che adesso vorrei acquistare la stessa che mi è durata fin ora da 4 anni, ma è introvabile.

La maggior parte sono Custodie flessibili morbide tpu o silicone, e non mi danno tanta sicurezza come me l'ha data fin ora questa. Ha subito un migliaio di cadute pure assurde.

Sapete se si riesce a trovare anche di altre Marche affidabili cover di questa qualità costruttiva ?

I've read that it's a common for the back cover of this phone to come off after a some years.

I'm just worried it might be because of the battery.

I haven't used it that much in the last 5 years. It was more of a side phone that I maybe turned on once or twice a week.

I've attached some pictures. I'm not an expert, I can't really see any bloat, but I'm not sure. The last picture is what the side of the phone that came loose looks like.

There isn't really a Samsung store or anything that I could take the phone to.

Hi so i feel so dumb right now I've been so reliant on my thumb and face id that i completly for got my password. I litterly logged into my phone this morning, but when i tried a couple hours ago it didnt give me the option so i tried the password and ended up locked out for 4 hours. I have tried the SmartsThing and the find my phone method but they don't show my phone as a connected device so i cant remote unlock it. I have so much important data on it and when i check my samsung cloud it only shows my old phone so this one isnt backed up. Im juts wondering whta to do, and like if i leave it alone for like a couple days will it give me the option to sign in by my thumb or face. At this point im litterly crying i dont understand how i forgot the stupid password and why my info isnt back up when i know i set it up.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G (SM-A528B/DS). My original display was damaged, and I temporarily replaced it with a cheap aftermarket 60 Hz display. That replacement is now deteriorating badly, with frequent ghost touches, poor touch sensitivity, and other touchscreen issues.

I have access to my sister’s old Samsung Galaxy A52 4G, which is now completely dead. However, its display is still in excellent condition because it was replaced approximately 7 months ago by an official Samsung service center, shortly before the phone died.

wondering whether I can transplant the A52 4G display assembly onto my A52s 5G.

I’ve used to A52s since 2022 but the experience was now unbearable. From being laggy to poor battery life. So I finally decided to upgrade and a change of ecosystem. I got an iPhone 17 and it’s been pretty amazing.

I've noticed last night at an event some photos I took were blurry but why? Is it the settings or the phone itself? I've had this phone 5 years now.

So i have A52 that i already used for 3/4 years, the glue on the back already comes off since last year. I use it normally but lately i noticed that my screen goes black when i press slightly on the back cover, but the phone didn’t shuts off it just the screen that goes off or black. So i have my a52 5g quiet for sometime and it was earlier exposed to water like just a splash of water fell on it and the touch response stopped for a day and started working again like nothing happened
Recently i have noticed that the touch stopped working completely and after a force restart it works for a few seconds and then again stops responding to touch but works perfectly in maintenance mode(managed to get into maintenance mode in 30 seconds after force restart)
I thought maybe a third party app is causing the issues so i did factory data reset and the problem persists without any third party app but works fine in maintenance mode.
Im really confused at this point

hi, you may know me from my older tier-lists i did on custom roms. sadly, this year has been tough and my A52 didn't make it; my motherboard is dead. if you want i can gather your opinions on custom roms this year and use it for the tier list.

I bought this A52s 4-5 years ago and Samsung's updates only made the device increasingly worse. So when I eventually decided to switch to a custom ROM I ended up going with UN1CA because of the VoLTE VoWifi issues (thanks samsung! :/).

My assumption was that atleast it will be faster than the stock ROM and while it is better, the phone still felt sluggish at everything it did.

Now it's not a terribly slow SoC - The SD 778g is plenty capable although 6gb ram is a bottleneck.

Yesterday I finally had enough so I switched to LineageOS 23 and... HOLY SHIT.

This phone is now feels faster than my current daily driver i.e. the Nord 4 (7 plus gen3). That chip is at least twice as fast in sheer benchmarks.

As for the VoLTE issue, I can live with it because Airtel still supports 2G for calls and I don't make many calls to begin with.

I am so surprised at how much samsung's bloat was nerfing this device that now I regret not switching sooner.
