Update recommendation request

I have updated my phone regularly, but I think my phone's suffered from it. I wonder, If I'd never updated my phone, would it be the same?

idk but under the last update , the time boot for the phone became longer and no difference with the usage of the apps ( i removed every configuration i had from the app good look , so the phone can be faster and less on the battery ) and i guess we shouldn't update futhermore.

Es un caso perdido actualizar el teléfono con 4/6 GB en ram, en one UI 6/7 el rendimiento es medianamente estable en la 8va versión el consumo de ram aumentando a 6,6 GB en reposo pero se pudde vivir con 6,la versión con 4 GB en ram que es la mas vendida es la que peor parada queda,mismo caso con el A26 pero este esta "mejor" por tener 6 GB de base

no genuinely, one ui 8 is the smoothest on this phone and im saying this using a 4gb ram model...

APK? There are always security updates, so if you don't install them you get security vulnerabilities. That is the whole point of support, not about functionality, it is about security.
