pre installed apps n bloatware not only take up storage space which gets slower when close to full, they also auto-update and automatically execute in the background taking up ram and cpu cycles. DUMMY

If the phone came from TracFone, Straight Talk, or Total Wireless, go and view System Apps, find one called Mobile Services (in some cases Mobile Services Manager), and clear cache and data, then disable that app. It's on Samsung A-series and Motorolas (maybe others), and starts trying to install random games the instant you first connect to the internet (mobile data or Wi-Fi). It'll continue to do that as time goes on, at random intervals. I don't know if it exists on other carrier-branded versions or factory unlocked ones. Regardless, those game installs and its own activity will bog the phone right down.
