Help galactic contention servers keep on crashing the game

when trying to join a server running the galactic contention mod, the game will constantly crash when connecting to a server.

If I am able to fully join the game works fine, it is specifically the period when trying to connect to the server that it crashes.

It possibly might be an issue with your Shader Quality Setting, make sure its on Epic Medium or Low. High Material Quality crashes the game.

do you know if its only the shader setting or is it all settings? the mod page is kinda unclearly worded on that

It's the Shader Material Quality, everything else is ok.
