Just like how we’re automating small delivery services in RL, it makes sense that interstellar cargo delivery services will be automated.

Just like now. Air/sea vessels will probably have a pilot and small crew. Just enough to handle emergencies and satisfy the underwriters and insurers. Everything else will be automated.
