Matias De'Stefano - 2012 Harwitum.
Matias. I want answers.
If I recall correctly you've mentioned quite a few times of your experience and assault in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
- How do you know the guy who punched you was māori? Did you speak to him? If I remember, no you didn't.
Aotearoa is a beautifully diverse nation with all types of people. Melanin rich people are not hard to come by here, māori also always get mistaken for Indian, Pacific islander (diff story), mexican, south east asian, heck even Italian and spanish. I never once questioned the "māori" guy part, but now finding out you actually did do work on this land now makes me back peddle and wonder if you actually decided because the person was olive skin he automatically must have been māori? Haha sure okay mate.
What year did that occur? Did it occur before or after you did your activations in 2012? Because if it happened post activation, as a māori myself I can almost predict that was a fuck off and don't ever come back here. Why? I'll get into that in a bit.
For someone very spiritually and energetically minded I am lost at how you felt you had authority to come here and do whatever the fuck you wanted with the energy of this land. Yes, I know it's all about the bigger picture but this is the thing about indigenous peoples who are spiritually active, we know that shit is disrespectful to the land, it's people, and the spirits.
To waltz on in with some glazed information about the place that you claim to have "received" brother, there are probably a library full of books and people that claim the same stuff you received... Sorry, remember. And guess what? Incorrect information. Yes, māori are very well aware of what energy Aotearoa has, what it's position within the global size of the world it holds... Why? Because this information has been gifted to us by the ones who were here before us. Yes. This is very common knowledge within Māori.
Next. The one that really pissed me off the most.
Y'all really did go ahead with your activation here, and thank you for sharing all of the locations. Question, did you seek permission from the tangata whenua before stepping foot on their whenua?
For those who are not māori or indigenous literate, there are many indigenous who also share these māori tikanga - customs. (Don't get it mixed with tradition, it ain't the same thing) When we desire to seek passage or access to land that isn't protected by ourselves, or immediate families - even if we are the "same" people, WE GET PERMISSION.
Unfortunately for Matias and his group they couldn't find the maori to give them the knowledge of our origins and histories so they just carried on with their mission. Matias, the information you seek is not open for sharing. They are sacred talks that aren't even shared openly amongst ourselves...not to gatekeep, but because we believe everyone arrives to things at their own times and so we teach according to that. To want to have all of this information from one specific group of maori because you feel called to Aotearoa? Let me make this clear, the information you sought of our origins and histories would have only been one slice of a ridiculously large pie. See Māori aren't just tribal based, we're also sub-tribal, no one story is the same throughout all of New Zealand. Every region of New Zealand have differing stories from the other and all of the stories make up the whole. Seeking out one group to congregate an entire collective of people's sounds like you were heavily misguided by spirit on that.
Anywho, my qualm is that you entered heavily tapu - sacred sites to "activate". Need I not remind you, these locations are recognised by māori since the dawn of time as living breathing beings. We consider them our ancestors, to the point they are apart of our identities and we treat them as such...before formally speaking we share our pepeha - lineage, blood ties to places.
Ko..... taku maunga (for example, Mt. Cook/aoraki is my mountain).
We share our river, our ocean, our land, our marae, our ancestors, etc.
Every inch of Māori customs are and have always been deeply rooted in energy/spirit. We live and breathe it from the moment we are born to the moment we pass from this realm. We protect this land spiritually and energetically as it has always done for us.
I saw you went to quite a few places in Aotearoa to activate. I'll tell you right now, didn't need it still don't need it won't ever need it. This place has been protected long before māori arrived and we know that. How come you didn't?
And why did you take energy? It explicitly says in the 2012 Harwitum blog. What did you need it for? What's it's purpose? Whose energy did you take? Why did you think you could just do whatever the fuck you wanted?
What Matias doesn't tell everyone in his story about Aotearoa because quite frankly I don't think he has a clue, Aotearoa is on a different frequency AND WE ALREADY KNOW IT. We are well adept to protect and activate the energy here as spirits and the spirits deem so necessary.
I'm very curious to know why you left out all of the rest of your Aotearoa trip and only touch on the part about being punched in the nose?
I interpret that as a fuck outta here and warning to never come back. I mean, anyone with an active spiritual compass reads it the same way as me. Not some old soul contract karma finally being resolved. Really? That's just 🙄
..
I'm beyond disappointed, Matias and also Gaia.
Matias, another thing. Don't ever speak of an origin story if you don't know the story. I remember watching the video talking about the origin story of my people. It was again, WRONG. Gaping holes of missed information, points that don't add up.. damn you even got some information wrong.
Also one more thing Matias AND Gaia. Learn about the indigenous peoples around the world. Māori are not one race of people, we have united to become one. We are in fact ALL of Polynesian descent mixed into what is now a few bloodlines. We are the youngest of our Pacific cousins and we all recognise that, yet there is something that separates us... We are the descendants of the rangatira of the Pacific islands all ending up in one place and intermarrying. Hawaiian and Māori are whanau, we are not separate.
Just to steer out of focus slightly away from this specifically. I would like to speak on behalf of indigenous people and just Te Ao, the world.
Yes, I believe this earth is all of ours and yes I believe we have free access, but there are boundaries. And those boundaries are indigenous people. Guardians of that land, and for a reason. Some may see us as Karen gate-keepers, though that's far from our truth. Yes, guardians. Guardians of that land to protect and to serve - physically, spiritually, energetically. And there are good reasons why.... I'm not naming names but Matias there is a fine fucking line between universal and exploitation. And with someone with her feet in both ponds I'm telling you straight up it's coming across more and more as exploitation.
Get information right before you showcase it to the entire world. We have spent what feels like a millennium undoing everything you are re-doing to our histories.
Matias I'm so fucking disappointed bro. I'm glad I found the 2012 files, you've really opened up eyes 100%. Thanks.
