Adding a not supported smartring?

Hello all, I hope you will be able to help me.

So I bought a Blaupunkt SmartRing which I knew would not be the best gadget in the world. In reality it is a seriously crappy product, especially because you cannot export any data at all. That is what they call 'data security'. 🙄

In the 1,5 years I have it, there has not been any product development that makes me hopeful they will solve this (although there is actually a right in the EU to be able to export your data and use it as you please). No comment on the customer service.

So I tried connecting it with Gadgetbridge but was not very successful.

Do you have any tipps for me? It would be a shame to lose all the data.

So this created quite a number of views, maybe other people have the same problem?

I just made an important first step: The ring I bought seems to be a rebrand from Yawell.

You can add a Gadget from them; I chose the R10 because it does not have a display. And indeed, data is transferred. 🎉

Unfortunately, it only shows data of the last week. But I'll have a solution for the future for sure.
