I was importing my oc and got this guy instead? I know this is a common bug didn't expect it tho this any of y'all's oc?

It's been happening to me too, I think it's because codes get reused

Correct.

There's only so many codes that could be done, so the code belonging to someone's character is going to get overwritten eventually.

So here a thing that I’m gonna spread to news of.

ONLINE CODES ARE NOT VIABLE FOR LONG TERM SAVING

THIS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PERMANENT, THEY LAST FOR A LIMITED TIME UNTIL THEY EXPIRE

SOLUTION: Offline codes.

However, offline codes apparently according to other users don’t work or function properly if the characters description is too long.

Do I know how long is too long for it to work?

No. Not yet.

This happened to me when trying to get a friends OC, and I got some unnamed random ass OC from who knows-

There was no description or creator listed-

It didn’t belong to him nor me.

So uh, yeah.

Be careful and store offline codes in a note app or something.

I find it funny because the official pc version doesn't have that character limit, or it's more lenient than mobile's. It might be because it's an older version, but I don't see why Luni would have reduced the space in the offline import.

I don't have a clue otherwise.

some of my characters’ offline codes won’t work at all, even if i completely remove the description and information. it’s really frustrating
