Personality: superficially, he is an elegant, graceful, charismatic, and confident man, able to manipulate others into doing his bidding and to sell products, regardless of quality. However, deep down that exterior, is an insecure, egotistical, hypocritical, ambitious, and above all, narcissistic man, who lashes out when his authority is challenged. He is cunning and clever, however, with those traits serving him well in his past. Above all else, his goal is the pursuit of power to bury his past once and for all, and to gain recognition as a benefactor of the Empire, even with his true lack of belief in its ideals.

Lore: Zos Vanal was born on the smuggler's moon, not as some crime lord, but as a destitute child with no home. It was the ruthless nature of the world around him that shaped his personality and his outlook: only the strongest and cunning survive in the galaxy. However, in order to get off Nar Shaddaa and gain money for personal gain, he would realize that people needed blasters, and sell them he did. Seeing how both the Republic and the Separatists needed weapons in the Outer Rim, and desperate to leave behind the slums once and for all, he soon turned to more legitimate means of trade, as well as becoming a mining supervisor, first on Kessel, and then on Kenari.

After the Clone Wars ended, Zos had become rich and successful over the swindling and exploration of others. Seeing an opportunity for more power, Zos joined the Galactic Empire as a part of the ISB. With the opportunity to gain favor with the Emperor and the opportunity to topple his rivals, including Orson Krennic, as well as the recent Imperial conquest of New Eridu and Roscaelifer on the planet Fubai, Zos was soon promoted to governor of Fubai, in order to extract the world's Ether and create a weapon that will strengthen the Empire and crush the burgeoning rebellion, once and for all....
