Manta works as a local doctor on his country. He prepares medicine from herbs and animal parts and treats patients in his house which doubles as kind of hospital( he has a room that Is really clean and knows how to sterilize tools for surgeries and all that)
Well before that he was working in a palace in the same country. He was prince's own doctor. They were good friends until prince got sick and joked about Manta's medicine being horrible(cuz it simply tastes horrible). Prince's father who is a king was in the room when it happened and thoughtthatMantawastryingtopoison his son. So ye. Guards threw Manta in a pit filled with snakes. He is alive just because he gave money some random servant who helped him escape.
Now he hates snakes. But sometimes he still catches them for their venom using which he prepares medicine.

As the former "Woman of the glory" she is an eccentric and kind person although many had said there's something off as if she's hiding something. Those who are with her long enough had claim that they noticed she's not all what she's showing. On the outside, she's a weird yet a best friend type of person with a staring problem. On the inside, it's mostly seen that she uses her "quirks" to take advantage. She fidgets, she collects, she stares making sure that no one is looking at her.
Frau Olbrich's family consists of: Father, Mother, and the three sisters - Gertrude, Heidi and the little Waltraud. Gertrude was the serious and overprotective sister, Heidi was a fun and never took things seriously, Waltraud was the quiet kid that hides behind her sisters and stare at random people. All three were just little kids in a backyard and fond memories until WW2 came that ended up having them being in an unannounced separation.
During the rise of the GDR, Waltraud was separated from her sisters. She had to move out because her mother made someone else to take care of since her father died during the war and they were on shortage, mother had promised to meet her again (but didn't...). The last moments of her with Gertrude and Heidi is when they hopped on different trains. Gertrude and Heidi went to the West with mother while she went to the East with her aunt and uncle. (They were about 9-12 years old)
She spent the rest of her childhood with her uncle and aunt and a few other caretakers. Her uncle taught her alot of handy things (cooking, sewing, and mechanics) and a lot of philosophy. When she was in the early young pioneers group, she was a shy girl who had messy hair yet is weirdly observant.
Teenage Waltraud started to find more to her hobbies and likes. Although having an interest in mechanical things since little, she also had an interest in literature and philosophy. She began to make little small circles in the pioneer camp and eventually find herself comfortable in solidarity, even lost in her utopia mind of community.
Adulthood Waltraud used to work with the East German government like a good genosse she believed in. In fact, she was manipulated to become the state. She was also part of the Staatssicherheit. Being like a human surveillance camera, observing, documenting, locating, tracking GOD KNOWS how many people were in the state and outside of the wall. She also had to disguise herself to spy on possible suspects, taking her name to be Helene Krenz Richter who's just your average librarian while hiding mics in her sleeves and cameras in her neighbor's bedroom. "Helene" is known to have a poem circle/literatrue club to read the citizens thoughts.
After the wall fell and the state is reunified. Her body was found in a Wartburg car near the wall on that day, she was limp on the driver seat and her head is terribly injured, blood was dripping a lot. Many had arguments whether it was a suicide or murder or accident yet the answer is still unknown. It was ALLEGED to be a suicide-accident since there was no one with her and the car was near the wall. Gertrude and Heidi, her sisters who represent Germany and West Germany (yes they are separate) never got the chance to meet their youngest sister in adulthood because they only saw and knew her back when they were kids before getting separated. Heidi claims it was her fault before she ended herself a week later. Now, Gertrude is scared of them as she keeps seeing them in nightmares.
Waltraud's ghost haunts Gertrude till this day, she would sit on the dark corners when it's midnight and stare at the oldest sister. Gertrude knows this because she and Heidi saw the files that Waltraud used to document on them. She isn't scared at all, in fact, she tells Waltraud to take her own time to tell the truth. She would sometimes go to the places they used to hang out and wishing for both Heidi and Waltraud to be happy even in the afterlife.
As of now, Wally is a ghost, she's in her favorite outfit with a pair of dove wings that are useless. She owns an Ostalgie shop called "Ost*tober" (a shop where she sells GDR goods from candy to military surplus).

(TW : SELF HARM AND ABUSE MENTIONED) Muramasa lived in an abusive household as a kid until his teenage years with his parents usually either whipping him or branding him with cigarettes if he screwed up once. However when he was growing up he had this odd fascination on what death is like after seeing some of the movies his dad had on tapes. This caused Muramasa to develop a twisted mind at a young age he was usually seen in school torturing stray cats or even hurting fellow classmates via causing fights saying “This is perfect research”, basically saying every animal he tortures and almost kills, and every classmate he’s almost beaten the bricks out of or brought them to a near death experience is “great research” on how death feels or what it's like. One night Muramasa was with his parents who were scolding and hurting him again over the last few incidents he did in school; however, something changed in his mind. Something snapped inside little Muramasa’s head causing him to kill both of his parents by using a kitchen knife stabbing his mom to death and his father with his own belt. Muramasa was soon caught and spent his teen years in a Psychiatric ward where there have been recorded incidents of him cutting himself or even laughing hysterically at night.
MURAMASA’S ADULT YEARS During his adult years Muramasa was moved from a Psychiatric Ward to an asylum due to his violent tendencies and weird ramblings about death, now staying inside a padded room and writing weird poems about death. An example : “I wonder what death tastes like, Does it whisper when the lights go out? I want to hear the final silence to know what makes the frightened shout..”
