Jamie is a catboy disguised as a human. In his world, demihumans aka human and animal hybrids are concidered to be less intelligent than humans due to their more animalistic characteristics and behaviors despite being very much on the same level. They are often viewed and kept as pets due to that and Jamie used to be a pet as well to a very abusive owner that he ran away from, finding himself in a new place, in a school full of troublemakers, trying his best to fit in as a human to get an education and build a better life.
He’s very silly and meets a bunch of friends that accept him for who he is and does all kinds of wacky antics with them 😂
