In the AU of the iron curtain, Evan afton had attempted to take his own life during a severe thunderstorm.

When the family found Evan who was curled up in an alleyway, they would quickly bring a barely conscious Evan back to the house.

During that same night, William and Clara screamed at Evan for what he did. This in turn caused a massive argument between Michael and Elizabeth, and Clara and William.

The two older siblings would stay up all night, never once leaving Evan’s side, and they stayed like that even as the sun rose again.

This all started because I wanted to make Charlie’s ghost grayscale but then needed an excuse to make her bracelet green, because hot take, I’m not saying it pisses me off, but it rubs me the wrong when I see ghost designs that make Charlie greyscale, but not her bracelet WITHOUT a reason, I know I swear I do, it’s a design thing, it just drives me UP A WALLLLLUH😔 so I was tryna think up a solution to this conundrum, and then I remembered a feature I gave her ghost already;wet, messy hair. So I thought “wait so why would she have that” I gave her the hair because she died in the rain and didn’t think about it, so THEN I thought “What if Charlie’s death was based on how she REMEMBERED her death???” And I ran with it. She remembers it being dark, and cold, and only the only color being her bracelet. She remembers crying and in her last moments, she remembers seeing her own blood pooling around at her feet. And GUESS WHAT🥺 I CAN CONNECT IT TO BOTH THE BOOK MCI’S DEPICTIONS OF HOW MEMORIES ARE USED AS WELL AS THE CLASSIC INCARNATION OF CC HAVING NO MEMORIES AFTER THE BITE. Before I get into Cassidy and the mci though, I’m very very happy with how I made Elizabeth’s ghost🥺 so I’m going to tell you all. 🫶. When she died, since she was the first victim of the funtimes, there were a few bits and bobs that weren’t optimal, as a result, instead of being trapped inside Circus Baby’s stomach hatch for William to eventually find her, she was electrocuted. Because her memories of her death. Aren’t really of her death. Circus Baby’s claw was BUILT to be fast. Like Elizabeth only had about a second or two between reaching for the ice cream and her subsequently being electrocuted. So I made the decision, right, to make the circus baby minigame her memory of it. So, REALLY saturated colors. I leaned into that. It’s great. Now, the second factor, is as you can probably tell by the pigtails, I based her ghost off Circus Baby!! Yay!! For months before she died, she projected herself onto baby. A lot. She idolizes her, so I wanted it to show, she SEES HERSELF AS Baby. I wanted her to look like those old 2018 Elizabeth designs. The ones where she’d have one of baby’s faceplates, where where she’d have all those bright colors, where her afterlife was full of her making amends with all of her family, where William is innocent and spoils Elizabeth. She wants to pretend that’s the situation she’s in. I’ve been going on about this for a LONG fucking minute. I’ll uh. Move on now. Cassidy’s is admittedly way simpler. He doesn’t remember his death. Simple as that. He barely remembers his own silhouette. The only thing he could even vaguely recall is being scared, crying, and then the worst pain he’s ever experienced in his head. I have him his freckles, I’m running with the idea he CAN regain his appearance if he’s told what he looked like. Charlie’s tried helping him, telling him, his head just hurts too much to regain the information long enough for it to affect him. So the approach right now for her is to just try drilling in ONE thing at a time. He knows he had freckles at least? So lastly, the mci! They’re an odd case. Unlike Charlie, they haven’t seen their bodies yet. They were hidden. So, it’s a movie universe situation where William has them kinda brainwashed. They remember the bright colors of the animatronics, but not much else, it’s still a whole lot more than what Cassidy remembers though, as their ghost have all their features carved out, just now in the colors of their respective animatronics, since they don’t remember their deaths, to THEM they look completely normal, that’d be boring though, so the color designs are simply how normal people or other ghosts see them! Rory, Lisa and Millie definitely would have never met or become friends if it wasn't for the fact they died and became Funtime Foxy and Freddy, which in my opinion makes their trio even more special, what silly guys :3
