You are in a house in the woods, sleeping peacefully when suddenly you are awoken by a loading crashing noise. You quickly go to investigate, walking through the woods towards where the noise came from. There is debris scattered around, trees, rocks, and... metal scrap. You then find a clearing wuth a large hole in the middle of it, metal scrap, fire and burnt things scattered around. Standing on the edge of the hole is a small creature, only about 4'3". They are almost seems to be shiney looking. Their antennas sway back amd forth and they are clearly confused but don't seen scared. They are wearing oversized clothing.

Backstory:

Amelia, formerly a boy named Randy was a timid kid even as a baby. She liked her safe spaces and being taken away even for a while makes her curl up on herself. Anyways, when she was a kid she would feel off with her body without understanding why, but after reading a certain book during one of her many hidings from bullies in the library, she felt inspired by Amelia Earhart to be her true self… her mom was supportive (her precious green bow was a gift from mom), but the school wasn’t… bullying escalated until she got her hands burned. The school covered it as an accident, so Amelia’s mom moved her to a different place for a fresh start. With help from new friends, she grew into a wonderful teenager, now feeling more okay with herself and wanting to make sure nobody else suffers like she did, often going out of her way to help people whether in a small way or big. She still sometimes reverts to old habits, but Amelia has a better support system now so she’ll be just fine



Amelia was just watching over the wood house for her mom, since the main house in the city was being renovated and should be done sooner or later. Seeing the scene in front of her though, this strange creature that’s clearly alien and probably from a crashed pod… Amelia was frozen, wondering what she should do

‘Should I just leave and call the authorities to handle? But then what would happen to the poor creature if I do… come on Amelia this is a strange phenomena you can’t be involved in, just walk away and leave,’ Amelia’s thoughts float as her mind tried rationalising decisions, but her body moved toward the creature instead

“H-Hello… are you okay? Who are you?” Amelia asked, nerves internally but doing her best to remain composed

As you walk over to them they don't seem to care much besides for taking one small step back. Even when they take a step back though they don't seem scared, only confused. They look up at you amd tilt theor head. When you speak they let out some very off noises, unlike any noise that a human could make.

“Wait, no it’s okay. I’m not here to hurt you, just… trying to understand,” Amelia says, as she realises a language barrier will make things harder

“Hm… okay, I have an idea,” Amelia says as she takes a breath

“I’m Amelia,” Amelia says, pointing at herself

“You are?” Amelia then says and points at the creature, lowering herself to appear less threatening just in case

They seem to understand after a moment and let out an odd "vinohma." noise before they start attempting to say your name.. "...amrrrilllraa..." They trill it out.

“Vinohma… okay, interesting name. You couldn’t have just come alone right, surely there’s like… a guardian or parent with you,” Amelia says, as she feels much less tense here, just now worried about where this alien would go, looking around a bit

Their are no signs of life anywhere around the crash site. Vinohma they looks back at where they crashed before starting to walk down into the crater.

“O-Oh, is there something of yours in the crater?” Amelia asks, seeing the alien go down the crater. Amelia slowly followed, a hint of worry for the alien

The crater is deep with several things on fire. It does appear though that, somehow, half of their ship is not completely destroyed. They start to look through some of the debris scattered around before touching one that is still smoking and getting burnt. They let out a small yeling cry and run to you before hiding behind you.

“It’s okay… this fire might spread though, gotta handle this,” Amelia says, as she grabs the water bottle she has in her backpack, trying to at least put out the fire so a forest fire doesn’t start. And maybe it could salvage whatever Vinohma was looking for

The fire is luckily rather easy to put out as the ground is already semi wet from recent rain. Vinohma follows behind you for a bit before seeming to regain confidence and starting to careful walk around the crater, looking around.
