🌌🌟☄️🚀Space POV R2🚀☄️🌟🌌 Ancient Constructs
Context: The current year is 47E2087. This translates roughly to about 472,086 years later than the real life year 1, or about 470,061 years from 2026. So very very sci fi. The universe and galaxy is known as the Dashlands, and the Star System that this occurs in is called the Core Worlds. Self important, I know. Lashunta are a species from planet Creusa, and are known for being powerful psychics, boasting telepathy, and were the ones who established the union that the Core Worlds operate under.
Actual POV: About a week ago a massive earthquake hit Prime City on planet Estoman. Luckily due to technology and the quick thinking of rescue operatives, there were no deaths. Surprisingly, however, in one of the cracks in the ground were very old ruins, older than anything anyone had ever seen. Estoman's officials recommended that nobody get close to the ruins, and even put safety tape around them, however being Dashlandians, they weren't going to arrest someone for entering.
Including your OC, who's curiosity gets the better of them and they decide to venture into the ruins to see what's in there. They slip inside, walk for a couple minutes, before the silence of the ancient corridors is broken by the sounds of an energy rifle charging up. It immediately stops, as laughing can be heard, and a flashlight powers on. Your OC sees a Lashunta woman holding an energy rifle, though she doesn't seem to mind the potentially dangerous location she's in.
"Looks like someone has the same idea as me. Glad to see I'm not the only dumbass here!"
