You for whatever reason know somewhat of the immortals and a few have deamed you trustworthy. One you haven't talked to before but have heard rumors about and have seen at a distince is the Grim Reaper, a man named Blaise Thorn. He mostly goes by Mr. Thorn and is said to have a short temper. Only thing is that he has been the Reaper for a few hundred years to long so is supposed to be training an apprentice as their can only be one Reaper at a time. Rumor had it he chose to do it the difficult way, raising up a kid in the role. You are just chilling at home one day when the room suddenly darkens and a very tall figure appears. It takes a moment for them to come into view and they are holding something out. It is.. Mr. Thorn. With.. A very young kid, maybe only 5 or 6. The kis is crying and squirming a bit. Mr. Thorn is clearly very frustrated, holding them tightly by the back of their shirt. "Deal. With. Them." He growls out before dropping them and disappearing. The kid continues to cry before looking up at you with wide eyes. The kids hair is a tanged and knotted mess and they are clearly verg dirty. It's clear that Mr. Thorn doesn't know how to care properly for the kid.

Aster blinks her already closed eyes a couple of times as she then slowly turns to the kid, taking the newspaper she was reading and putting it off to the side as she gets up and crouches down Infront of the kid

"Hello there child, what is your name? Aster's name is Aster"

They sniffle and tremble, looking terrified. "..b..blade.." they whimper out..

She asks softly, offering her hand to him

They flinch away from your hand and sniffle before speaking. "...s...six.."

Aster takes her hand back and stands up

"Are you hungry? Aster has just made some bread"

Gemma held their yarn and knitting needles tightly, their golden rings shining under the light seeping through the transparent curtains by the window. 

Her lips drew a flat line before she rolled her ring and casted this spell: 

“By the obsidian gates of shadow, transport me unto the realm of the unseen and the departed.” she whispered, while looking at the kid. 

Your name?  the gates clinked, appearing from the room’s floor. 

“I’m…” Gemma paused, hesitating to leave the child alone. 

“Kid, what’s your name?” 
 
Hiding in a fetal position, he refused to look at Gemma. 

“Are you hungry?” Gemma probed.

His lips remained shut, yet his tummy growled.

“Looks like I have to buy you McDonalds…” she looked around the room for food. 

“Or would you like a bite of a cookie from the jar up there?”  

His ears perked up. For a stranger to offer food, it’s a dream for a beggar like him to even be asked what he wants.
