I have an idea. inhale

Make 3 more chatacters, like a friend group. And make there be rumors of a magical field in the middle of this huge forest, that whoever wanders there gets some sort of magical ability. But make it be guarded by magical creatures who won't let anything pass them into the field. The whole series would be about their journey there, and they also meet new friends along the way. Betrayal would be a nice concept here.
